Victoria Square employees and customers showed more than just fashion prowess by raising a magnificent £25,628 during a successful one year corporate partnership with local cancer charity, Cancer Focus Northern Ireland.
Lauren Campbell, Marketing Manager at Victoria Square, said: “As Belfast’s top retail and leisure destination we were thrilled to support a local cancer charity and help patients and their families in Northern Ireland. Together with Cancer Focus NI we came up with all sorts of fundraising events to raise money; from wrapping Christmas gifts and Spinathons, to organising various collections and raffles.
“As we come to the end of our partnership with Cancer Focus NI we would like to thank all our customers for their support and generosity over the past year.”
Maeve Colgan, Head of Income Generation at Cancer Focus NI, said “We would like to say a massive thank you to all the staff, customers and volunteers involved in our partnership that organised, took part in or donated to the many fundraising events throughout the year. All the money raised by Victoria Square will stay here in Northern Ireland and be used to support individuals and families in the local community who are affected by cancer.”
Cancer Focus NI provides a wide range of services for Northern Ireland cancer patients and their families.
