On Tuesday 21st January there will be a huge blood donation session in The Great Hall, Belfast City Hall (see attached flyer below for more details).
Please take 1 hour out of your day to donate blood to help someone like our brave son little Oscar Knox, he is 5 years old and has been fighting an extremely aggressive cancer for over 2 years. To date Oscar has relied on over 30 blood transfusions and over 130 blood platelet transfusions to stay alive, without them he would not be here today.
Only 6% of people in NI are blood donors, and so blood stocks often run low. YOU can change this.
This blood donation session has been organised by NI Blood Transfusion Service in conjunction with Belfast City Council. If you wish to take part, you can register in a number of ways:
