West Coast Cooler’s infamous Belfast Fashionweek promises a glamorous array of show-stopping chic events and runway shows, taking place across the city from October 10th – 13th inclusive. With nightly shows at the prestigious, highly coveted venue of the iconic Ulster Museum featuring only the very best selection of independent designer boutiques, local designers and the top names from our brilliant high street, this is a coveted fashion festival not to be missed.
Thursday kicks off proceedings with a dramatic designer boutique catwalk showcase featuring the likes of high-powered Cruise Fashion, Una Rodden, Melanie Bond and Diamond Dolls, with many other high-profile lines.
Furthermore, Belfast Fashionweek teams up with Belfast Restaurant Week in order to host the fabulous Fashion Friday on the 11th October at the exclusive James Street South Restaurant, followed by last year’s highlight catwalk-show featuring Autumn / Winter collections from a range of the best from the high-street.
Meanwhile, Saturday 12th plays host to an array of sophisticated events, including The Fashion Souk, a Fashion Tea at the Merchant and the prolific Diet Coke design Award, with Style Sunday at the fabulous hot spot SHU concluding Belfast Fashionweek with a luxurious finale consisting of an exclusive up close and personal look at this season’s latest trends with stunning fashions from local designers.
This season’s Autumn / Winter 13 trends promise to be reflected heavily throughout Belfast Fashionweek’s chic array of events, with Fashion Friday’s high-street catwalk showcase certain to deliver a stunning collection. Pale pink hues, velvet, plaid, reds and leopard print look set to be massive trends this A/W, alongside last year’s leather trend which is set to make a massive fashion comeback in the form of leather jackets, skater skirts and even cutting edge dresses and tops.
