Do you consider your business to be amongst the brightest in Belfast?
Do you work with rising stars with a vast amount of knowledge?
Do you revel in the opportunity to beat your peers?
If so, Belfast Chamber of Trade & Commerce’s annual Brainiest Business Quiz is the event for you.
It’s the sixth year of the quiz where city centre businesses get to flex their mental muscles, all in aid of charity for ‘Belfast’s Brainiest Business’.
Over 30 teams from every sector in the city, will battle it out in a series of quick-fire rounds, including general knowledge, sports, current affairs and name that tune.
The hugely successful annual quiz will this year be hosted by U105’s Denise Watson and will take place in Ten Square Hotel on Tuesday 29th September (arrival from 6pm with quiz beginning at 7pm). The event, which is part of U105’s Operation Purple Week, will raise money the Northern Ireland’s Children’s Hospice.
Belfast Chamber of Trade & Commerce President, Hugh Black said: “We are once again gearing up for a fantastic event which is not only great fun but also raises much-needed funds for a very important charity.
“It’s a tremendous evening with lots of camaraderie between the competing teams – complete with a raffle and great prizes for the winners.
“We encourage any individual or team who would like to be involved to get in touch with the Chamber as soon as possible as places are limited.”
All proceeds from the evening will go to Northern Ireland’s Children’s Hospice, which is the only service of its type within Northern Ireland caring for children and young people with very complex needs.
Ellen Hillen, NI Children’s Hospice commented “We are delighted to receive the support of BCTC and will be encouraging our corporate partners to put their brainiest employees forward to support this annual event which is happening during U105 Operation Purple week.
“Every pound makes a difference in helping us care for a local child with a life-limiting condition”.
The cost of entry for Belfast’s Brainiest Business Event 2015 is only £6 per person. To attend contact Martina Connolly at Belfast Chamber of Trade and Commerce on 028 9033 1399 or email m.connolly@belfastcentre.com.
