By subscribing or advertising, you give permission for Ulster Life & Interiors (Gortgole Group Ltd – GGL) and all of its publications and websites to contact you when necessary by email with our eZine titles and industry news updates. We will on occasion contact you regard competitions and special offers we feel would have interest to you as a subscriber/advertiser.
All subscribers must confirm their preferred email address by responding to the link sent to the email address you provide. If you change email address it is your responsibility to inform us.
This information is totally confidential and protected under the Data Protection Act. All competitions and promotions are under usual GGL rules and physical prizes will only be posted to an ROI or UK address.
Winners of any competitions in all GGL titles and web sites will be notified by the email supplied. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be made available unless offered at time of press.

By subscribing to Ulster Life Magazine published by GGL. You agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement (this “Agreement”)
If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, do not subscribe to the Magazine or agree to advertise within our publications and websites.
The personal information that you have provided to us, for the purposes set forth below, will be collected and maintained on servers in the United Kingdom, and will be shared with GGL, the publisher of the Magazine.
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove provisions of this Agreement at any time. You should check this Agreement periodically for changes. If you do not agree to this Agreement or any modifications made to it, you should not subscribe to the Magazine or agree to advertise within our publications and websites or, if you have already purchased a subscription, you should cancel your subscription with us.
Charges and Fees
As a subscriber to our Magazines, you agree to pay, using a valid debit or credit card (or other form of payment) which we may accept from time to time. The cost of subscriptions to the Magazine will include the cost of distribution.
All credit cards will be debited in Pounds Sterling. Your bank or building society may apply its exchange rate to convert the Pounds Sterling to your local currency and/or charge an additional fee for the transaction.
For purposes of your payment, you agree to provide true, accurate and complete information as required by the subscription and purchase process (“Subscription/Payment Data”), including your legal name, address, email address and applicable billing information (e.g., credit card number, expiration date and security code), and to allow us to share your Subscription/Payment Data with third parties for the purpose of verifying the information you provide and billing your credit card or otherwise charging your account.
If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, or incomplete, or we have reasonable grounds to suspect that such is the case, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your order.
All orders are subject to validation checks and authorization by your payment card issuer. If we do not accept your order and your credit/debit card has already been debited, we will notify you and refund your card in full immediately.
If you are under 18 you must ask permission from a parent or guardian before purchasing.
Receipt of Subscription
The Magazine is published monthly. Provided you subscribe before the 14th of any given month you will receive the next issue. If you do not receive it within this time, please contact Customer Service at firstname.lastname@example.org
Changes to your Subscription/Payment Data
You are responsible for keeping your Subscription data up to date and accurate. If there are any changes to your Subscription Data, such as a change of name or address or email, you must contact Customer Service at email@example.com and put “SUBSCRIPTION AMENDMENT” in the subject line and provide your updated info in the body of your message.

Cancellation of Subscription.
Either you or GGL. may terminate or cancel your subscription up to 30 days from the date you placed your order. You can cancel your subscription by contacting Customer Services at email@example.com or by such other means as we may provide from time to time. We will attempt to process all cancellation requests within 24 hours after we receive your request. Refunds of any subscription will be made after deducting the full single issue cost for each magazine you have been sent, including shipping. We also reserve the right to collect any outstanding fees, surcharges, or costs incurred before your cancellation takes effect. A cancellation fee of £10 is applicable.
Credit Card Refunds: please note that all credit card refunds will be issued in Pounds Sterling. Your credit card company or bank will convert the amount into your local currency and may charge an additional fee for completing the transaction.
If you cancel your subscription, you understand and agree that the cancellation or termination of your subscription is your sole right and remedy with respect to any dispute with us including, without limitation, any dispute related to, or arising out of: (i) any terms of this Agreement or our enforcement or application of this Agreement; (ii) any practice or policy of CPP or CPM. (iii) our enforcement or application of these policies; or (iv) the amount or types of our fees or charges, surcharges, applicable taxes, or billing methods, or any change to our fees or charges, applicable taxes, or billing methods.
CANCELLATION OF VERBALLY OR ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATED ADVERTISING AGREEMENTS ACROSS ALL GORTGOLE GROUP LIMITED WEB SITES AND PUBLICATIONS.
Cancellation of all verbally and electronically communicated agreed advertisements must be in writing via email or recorded delivery 48 hours before deadline. You will be billed for the full amount should you fail to notify us within that time scale. Directory listings and online advertisements are agreed effective immediately and payment must be made on agreement in full unless agreed otherwise at time of booking in writing.
If a refund is agreed outside of our standard terms we will endeavour to credit your account within 10 working days less any costs incurred before cancellation.
Failure to settle your invoice in the agreed time frame (standard 30 days unless agreed otherwise in writing at the time of booking) will result in any discount factored being excluded and full rate card price will be sought. If Rate Card price was agreed at time of booking a 20% surcharge will be added to the net value. Should you fail to fulfil your full block booking or full term agreement we will without notice charge you full rate card price on each issue/month you have supplied and agreed advertising for. It is in your interests to fulfil your full agreement. It is your responsibility to update job boards and any other content you have access to manage via bespoke log in details.
Copy received as finished art with no request for amends shall be accepted as final approved copy unless a proof is requested via email. If you do not respond to communication from GGL (firstname.lastname@example.org Ulster Life / www.myulsterlife.com) We will assume your amended artwork is approved and publish without recourse.
It is the clients responsibility to send copy and it should not be assumed GGL or any 3rd party designers will begin to design without a brief and copy (images & Text) being submitted. If a client fails to supply copy they do so without recourse or refund.
Ulster Life & Interiors Magazine is distributed as a digital platform magazine. Any printed copy of each issue is done so at the discretion of the Publisher.
IN NO EVENT SHALL GGL AND ITS AFFILIATE DIRECTORS, OFFICERS OR EMPLOYEES BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER RESULTING FROM THE SERVICES OR PRODUCTS PROVIDED HEREUNDER, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE OR OTHER TORTIOUS ACTION.
Your exclusive remedy for any claim shall be limited to the fees paid by you during which the event giving rise to the claim occurred or the cost of your subscription to the magazine, whichever is greater. In no event shall our liability to you exceed the amount paid by you. The limitations, exclusions and disclaimers set for above shall apply and be enforceable to the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, even if any remedy fails its essential purpose.
