Leading fashion brand Remus Uomo will be “celebrating in style” as it rolls out the red carpet this month to recognise 25 years of men’s fashion at a glamourous gala evening in the iconic Titanic Belfast.
Taking place on November 9, the event will see guests entertained by a star-studded line up including Irish stand-up comedian Ed Byrne, E4 magician Troy, and host, TV presenter Amanda Byram, whilst dining on a delicious Italian-inspired dinner – all to recognise the brand’s silver anniversary.
The gala evening will also include a fashion show, featuring models dressed in the latest Remus Uomo AW16 Collection featuring a journey through modern menswear.
Remus Uomo started life building on parent company, Douglas & Grahame’s solid foundations of formal tailoring with a look inspired by the sartorial expertise of Italian fashion – and that aesthetic is still an important part of what makes the brand what it is today.
Speaking about the event, Managing Director of Douglas & Grahame, Donald Finlay said: “Reaching our 25th anniversary is a fantastic accomplishment for Remus Uomo, and one which we believe is important to celebrate.
“We see this milestone as the brand’s ‘Coming of Age’ – a fact which was reinforced recently when we were named as ‘Menswear Brand of the Year’ at the Drapers Independents Awards in London. Our gala evening will play homage to 25 fantastic years of the Remus Uomo brand, and with a nod towards many more successful years to come.
“The pace of change in our industry is very fast and it is testament to the quality of design and manufacture of our products, and to the team behind the brand that Remus Uomo has reached such a significant anniversary.
“However, we’re continually looking to the future and have ambitious plans for the coming years, with a new website currently in development and recent senior appointments in sales and marketing to drive the brand onwards to even greater success.
