With thousands of students across Northern Ireland getting their ‘A’ Level results this week, P&O Ferries is giving them a Golden Ticket opportunity to take advantage of a great money saving deal as they book their travel to university in Scotland or England.

The UK’s largest ferry operator is rewarding students for their hard work by giving them an additional reason to celebrate by offering up to four students the chance to travel for free, when a trip is booked for a car and one full fare paying adult across the Irish Sea.

The offer and fare can be booked until 30th September for travel on P&O Ferries Larne to Cairnryan route from 1st September until 31st October, 2015 and until 30th September, 2015 on Larne to Troon sailings.

Commenting on the launch of the offer, Sarah Rosier, Head of Marketing at P&O Ferries said: “P&O Ferries is delighted to announce this great offer for students going to university for the first time as well as for those students returning to university for the new term.

“After all their hard work, P&O wants to congratulate and reward students during this exciting time and make their move to university in Scotland or England as hassle free as possible.

“Our Golden Ticket offer really does provide a fantastic money saving opportunity for students travelling across to university with friends as well as students making the journey with family, with up to four students in the car able to take the return trip for free.

“With no baggage restrictions, students can pack all their home comforts, ready to create their new home away from home at university.

“With the shortest, fastest and most frequent crossings between Northern Ireland and Scotland, P&O Ferries is looking forward to welcoming students onto our ferries this Autumn.”

Fares from Northern Ireland to Scotland start from just £79 each way for a car and driver. For more information on all sailings and the latest P&O Ferries offers, please visit www.POferries.com
