(Pictures) EVENING OF TWILIGHT TASTES PUTS LOCAL PRODUCE IN THE SPOTLIGHT

Local award-winning restaurant, George’s of the Market, recently hosted a decadent evening of ‘Twilight Tastes’ in celebration of some of Northern Ireland’s finest produce.

With a balcony overlooking one of Belfast’s most beloved and oldest attractions, guests were treated to a sparking drinks reception where they took in spectacular views of the first ever Twilight Market in St George’s below.

Having worked up an appetite from the colourful sights and sounds on offer, guests enjoyed a tasty five course menu to warm the soul from inside the newly refurbished restaurant, with each dish specially prepared by Head Chef, James Bell.

Showcasing the finest quality and diversity of local produce, dishes included rump steak with 8 hour braised ox cheek from Hannans in Moira and blackened cod from Walter Ewing’s in Belfast.

As a final gesture to remember the experience by, guests were given a complementary foodie bag, filled to the brim with delicious goods from St George’s Market, as featured on the menu, to take home and enjoy.

With convenient opening times of 10.00am-2.30pm for brunch Tuesday to Sunday and 5.00pm-9.30pm Wednesday to Saturday for dinner, diners can enjoy a stunning meal at George’s of the Market any time of the day.
