A bevvy of beauties descended upon Belfast as the first local heat of the Therapie Miss Northern Ireland contest came to 21 Social on Thursday 3rd March. Girls from across the country competed for their place at the Therapie Miss Northern Ireland final in front of an astute judging panel which included MD at ACA Models, Alison Clarke, the GM of 21 Social, Neil Stewart, make-up sponsor Paddy McGurgan, hair sponsor Denise McCluskey, owner of Blush Aileen Wilson, current Miss Northern Ireland, Leanne McDowell and CEO of Therapie Clinic, Tracy Gilligan.
Megan Geddis from Templepatrick was crowned “Miss 21 Social” and Chloe Lemon from Belfast was chosen as “Miss Belfast”. Both girls will now go forward to the grand final in Belfast’s Europa Hotel in May and stand a chance of winning the coveted title of the, ‘Therapie Miss Northern Ireland 2016.’
Competition organiser Alison Clarke, “21 Social was the perfect venue to kick off proceedings this year and a brilliant night was had by all. Belfast never disappoints with the calibre of girls who enter, once again it was a fabulous night and a huge congratulations to the winning girls and a big thank you to all who came along!”
Judge Tracy Gilligan, CEO of Therapie Clinic and this year’s title sponsor added, “What a fantastic night at 21 Social. This heat has always been a strong one and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere was brilliant and all the girls looked beautiful. Congratulations to both winners, and a big thank you to all who made the night so special.”
Last year’s winner, Leanne McDowell added, “Congratulations to both Megan and Chloe! My year as Miss Northern Ireland 2015 has been a dream come true. I cannot thank event organiser Alison Clarke and ACA Models enough for giving me this life changing opportunity. I would also like to thank all of my amazing sponsors for everything that they have generously provided for me this year. It was certainly has been a busy year!
