Eat cleaner.  Hydrate more.  Join a gym and exercise three times per week.  Just some of the New Year health resolutions you planned and perhaps broke by the second week of January.  Or maybe you’re still going strong, well done getting this far!

Should you need some motivation to kick start your health plans again and keep going, the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon returns with their “Health Month” throughout February!

February sees a full schedule of health activities and promotional visits across Northern Ireland linking in with their partners including title sponsor Deep RiverRock, Better (Official Gym Partner), Framar Health (Official Nutrition Partner), Translink (Official Transport Partner), SPAR, Belfast Live and more.

Health Month launches with a fantastic competition from Framar Health – win a Marathon Training hamper packed full of a range of natural remedies, promoting endurance and supporting recovery.  This will be followed by a visit to McKeever Sports Intersport, Rushmere Shopping Centre Craigavon on Saturday 2nd February from 12 noon.  McKeever Sports and Adidas are providing the training kit for this year’s Experiment 26.2 Group training for their first ever marathon.  There’ll be a chance to win £50 store gift cards plus there’ll be “healthy” goodie bags up for grabs courtesy of Deep RiverRock, Belfast Live, Better, Tayto, Linwoods and more.

There’ll be weekly visits to Better gym locations across the city and Saturday visits to a number of local SPAR stores with the event charity partners – Belfast Arthroplasty Research Trust (BART), Cancer Focus NI, Stroke Association, Air Ambulance NI and Action Mental Health.  You can expect lots of giveaways including family passes for W5 and more.
