Northern Ireland lingerie brand, Cinch Corsets, this week reached their first milestone, celebrating their one-year anniversary by notching up enviable sales across Ireland and by securing leading Irish retailer, Arnotts Department Store as a stockist. Cinch Corsets are well on their way to becoming a household name in shape-wear lingerie in Ireland and beyond.
Set-up by Northern Ireland businesswomen, Angela Hunter and Nicola Crawford, Cinch Corsets retails hand-stitched waist-training corsets, made using the highest quality, breathable fabrics, designed to support the back, whilst ‘cinching’ in the waist, creating curves and a flat tummy, instantly.
Since its inception, the company has racked up thousands of online orders, secured numerous stockists Ireland-wide and secured top models, Lucy Evangelista and Gemma Garrett as the faces of their Cinch brand.
The business duo say their ongoing success is down to a dedication to quality and attention to detail;
Nicola said: “We are absolutely delighted to be today announcing that we are being stocked by one of the most respected and longest running department stores in Ireland.
“When we first began our journey of creating the brand Cinch Corsets, quality was our main priority.
“We had a vision of the top retailers in Ireland stocking our product, to have that happen in just over 12 months of trading is a dream come true.
“Seeing our brand in one of Ireland’s longest established department stores in Ireland with the largest lingerie department is a real delight and we are looking forward to enjoying a long relationship with them.
Rachelle Hanley, Lingerie Buyer, Arnotts Department store commented: “I am thrilled to be introducing Cinch Corsets into the Arnotts lingerie department. From my first introduction to the product, I was impressed by the quality, the packaging and the overall brand strategy and knew that there would be a demand from our customers who want nothing but the absolute best from their shape wear garments. This is a niche product for which there is absolutely a demand and the fact that the company founders were local business people only added to the uniqueness of the brand and our own ethos to source local, where possible.”
With more new products in the pipeline and a growing list of retailers stocking the items and a number of local celebrities trying them, the prospect for Cinch Corsets looks set to grow far beyond Ireland.
