Thomson is offering the ultimate family fun day to Lapland flying direct from Belfast International Airport to Rovaniemi Airport, Finland on Friday the 11th of December 2015. The winter wonderland adventure is action packed including a mixture of reindeer and husky sleigh rides, lunch at Santa Park, snowmobiling, sledging, mini-skidoo rides, training at Santa’s very own elf school, storytelling by old man reindeer and a once-in-a-lifetime meeting with Santa Claus himself in his home high above the Arctic Circle.
On arrival at Rovaniemi Airport guests will be greeted by the friendly elves who will take them to Santa’s secret Grotto by coach and will be provided with thermal clothing at the special winter dressing room in Santa Park.
It’s not all about the children though as adults can enjoy a drink at the ice bar while admiring the ice sculptures in the Ice Queens Ice Gallery. Adults can also enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in Mrs Claus’ Bakery while watching the kids decorate gingerbread cookies with the elves. Before you leave you can visit Santa’s Post Office to send postcards from this magical location to your friends back home.
Numbers will be limited on the Thomson Holidays’ Lapland Day Trip, with the price including return flights and transfers, the hire of full thermal clothing, the activities at Santa park, a personal Arctic crossing certificate, a Lappish passport and a visit to Santa himself, as well as lunch and warming drinks throughout the day.
