There is magic in the air this weekend at Belfast’s favourite shopping centre. Before his busiest time of the year, Santa will arrive at CastleCourt this Saturday, November 15th to kick start an amazing programme of events and family focused fun in the run up to Christmas.

Santa’s parade has become one of the city centre’s most popular events in recent years and 2014 will be no different, with Santa on his sleigh, dancing elves, snowmen and costume characters brightening up Donegall Place from 11:45am, as they make their way towards the centre.

Ideally placed in the middle of the mall, Santa’s grotto in CastleCourt will become a hive of activity as children of all ages can enjoy the giveaways of goodies and seasonal treats, face painters and balloon entertainers. Those lucky enough to sign up for the Kids’ Club will even get a free Christmas goodie bag!

Santa and his helpers will be joined by Jack Frost and The Grinch who will be causing mischief on the CastleCourt mall, while cheeky elves on stilts and unicycles will keep shoppers smiling with their fantastically festive performances.

But the fun doesn’t end there, as the U105 radio roadshow will be on the street outside entertaining the passing crowds with their favourite Christmas tunes.

Camila McCourt, CastleCourt’s marketing manager is delighted to welcome Santa back on the mall “We know Christmas is fast approaching when Santa arrives. We have pulled out all the stops to create a sparkling programme of activity that will ensure our shoppers are filled with seasonal cheer. The show-stopping entertainment combined with one of Belfast’s biggest and best selection of high street names under one roof, as well as extended opening hours, mean there really is lots to love at CastleCourt this Christmas.”
