Deirbhile Wins ‘Face of Buttercrane’ Title
Buttercrane Centre has revealed that the honour of the ‘Face of Buttercrane’ title this year goes to Deirbhile Craven (17) from Newry.
Peter Murray, Buttercrane Centre Manager says; “I look forward to working with Deirbhile in her forthcoming year of reign. From seeing her in action on the catwalk as part of our weekend’s activities for Newry Style City, I can tell she has the makings of being a fantastic ambassador for Buttercrane.”
“I must say a big thank you to the outgoing Miss Buttercrane Claire Lyons, who did a fantastic job in the role and I wish her every success should she continue with modelling in the future.
“Last but by no means least, thanks go to our eagle-eyed talent spotter Pauline O’Malley for finding all of this year’s fabulous finalists. Assisted by Buttercrane’s Personal Stylist Amanda Rafferty they’ve turned them all into queens of the catwalk already, following Saturday’s Beautiful Style Day at Buttercrane.”
As winner of the ‘Face of Buttercrane’ Deirbhile received a £200 Buttercrane Gift Card and will reign supreme for the rest of the year as the star of many of Buttercrane’s fashion shows and photo shoots. The two runners up Kelly Kearney (18) from Camlough and Katie Dinsmore (17) from Warrenpoint each received £50 and will also be offered opportunities to feature in Buttercrane’s fashion promotion activities.
Alongside the glitz and glamour on the catwalk, there was another title up for grabs as part of Buttercrane’s Newry Style City’s activities. Toni Finnegan from Newry walked away as the winner of Buttercrane’s Street Style competition, as voted for by fans of Buttercrane Centre’s facebook page. As the lucky winner, she walked away with the title, a £100 Buttercrane Gift Card and goody bag.
