Leading department store Debenhams will soon be unveiling its new and improved beauty hall at its store in the Foyleside Shopping Centre.  The store, which opened in 1995, is getting ready to receive the ultimate makeover with a modernisation due for completion by mid-August 2015 which includes a transformation of all beauty brands in the ground floor beauty hall.

Debenhams Foyleside is currently home to a host of international beauty brands including Chanel, Urban Decay, Bare Minerals, Dior, Estee Lauder, Clarins, Lancome and Benefit, all of which will be given stylish new counters to showcase their bestselling ranges and offer makeovers and treatments to customers.

The modernisation, which will create 20 new jobs, includes a complete redesign of the existing beauty hall layout resulting in a contemporary and open plan shopping environment.

Ray Hetherington, store manager at Debenhams Foyleside said; “I can’t wait to unveil our new-look beauty hall to the people of Derry. We are completely changing the layout of the department and all beauty brands will be given a modern makeover.

“We have been working on plans for months so it is very exciting that the re-launch is only around the corner. I’m extremely confident our staff and customers will be impressed by the new look and feel of the beauty hall”.

Fergal Rafferty, centre manager for Foyleside Shopping Centre said: “We are absolutely delighted Debenhams is investing significantly in the Centre to create a more inviting, inspiring and easier to shop beauty hall.  Our customers will love the fantastic breadth of choice and latest expert advice available from some of the world’s best beauty brands.

“The investment in Debenhams follows the recent Apple and Office store openings last year and this sends a strong message that Foyleside is a quality, premium destination for potential investors to locate their business.”
