The spectacular parade, which starts at 6pm, will ignite the Christmas spirit in the city while showcasing the rich talent Northern Ireland has to offer; from the Ballet School of Dreams dancing the Nutcracker Waltz of the Flowers to the Hilcroft Special Needs School Makaton Choir signing Frosty The Snowman. Of course no Christmas event is complete without the main man and this year Santa brings a special guest, Mrs Claus, who will help do the all-important task of turning on the lights of the infamous Victoria Square Christmas tree.
Families across the province are invited to enjoy all the festive delights in the centre as Northern Ireland’s premier retail, residential and leisure complex officially launches Christmas in the city. Face Painters, balloon modellers, caricaturists and a real life reindeer will be spreading cheer from 3pm.
