The Malone Lodge Hotel, Belfast has appointed Carla Hosie as General Manager of the newly refurbished 119-room Eglantine Avenue property.
Carla joins the team from the Marks Tev Hotel in Colchester, part of the Best Western Group, where she was the General Manager. She brings with her a wealth of hospitality experience, beginning her career in Armagh City Hotel before moving to a bar supervisor role within the Mecure Edinburgh City Hotel. She quickly rose through the ranks and was promoted to Food and Beverage Manager before being appointed to General Manager of the property. Carla then transferred to the London Ealing Hotel where she acted as Hotel Manager for two years before joining Marks Tev Hotel.
In her new role as General Manager of the Malone Lodge Hotel, Carla will continue to build on the successful redevelopment of the South Belfast hotel following its major 3 year refurbishment project which reached completion earlier this year. Her responsibilities will include the Knife and Fork, the hotel’s brand new standalone grill and deli restaurant concept, as well as the extensive meetings and events offering which can accommodate parties of 2-240 guests.
Carla will oversee the wedding team who offer a dedicated wedding planning service and a new purpose built civil ceremony suite which can accommodate up to 130 guests.
