On 30th November, local burrito bar boojum will support men’s health month Movember with all the proceeds from a £3.50 burrito day.  boojum is inviting male and female supporters to wear handy cut-out Mexican style moustaches into the restaurant to pick up their priced-down burritos with all proceeds going to the charity.

The annual, month-long, Movember phenomenon has been attracting more and more followers in Northern Ireland, all ready to dust off their combs and style their charity-friend facial fur.  boojum have been supporting the cause for 3 years, ‘growing’ the amount raised year on year.

John Blisard from boojum says, “Movember has been a charity that we have been involved with for quite some time, as we feel it is important to raise awareness of important issues such as prostate and other male cancers. It is great to see more people respond each year to what they are doing and we just hope to support that in some way. We have decided to use the cut out facial hair so that both moustache-challenged males and girls can get involved, it also adds a bit of fun to a pretty serious topic, so hopefully people will enjoy looking a bit silly with us!”

To take part, MoBros and MoSistas can visit to register for their moustache and then wear it into the restaurant (Botanic Avenue or Chichester Street, Belfast) on 30th November.
