Betterhomes, Northern Ireland’s largest, locally owned home improvement company has today announced growth figures of 36.6 per cent in the first quarter of 2015, compared to the same period last year, and has enabled the booming business to employ a further seven staff.

The 17 year-old, north Belfast company, which specializes in uPVC windows, doors and conservatories and roofline products has recently added kitchens, bedroom and bathroom divisions, which has been a contributor to the growth.

Speaking about the company’s success, David Boyd, Director at Betterhomes said: “Today’s announcement is a credit to the fantastic team we have at Betterhomes and the fact that we have continuously evolved our product range throughout our history.

“Myself and business partner Gary Sinnerton, have worked tirelessly since day one, alongside our senior management to implement strategies to grow our staff skill base, which has allowed us to build up an unrivalled reputation in our field.

“By continually evolving our product range and increasing our buying power, this has allowed us to negotiate better prices with our suppliers. We then pass these savings on to our customers, meaning we are one of the most competitive in the marketplace.

“On top of this, we have recently employed a dedicated marketing manager who works with a number of external agencies to increase our market reach, allowing us to penetrate new markets, including the Republic of Ireland, where we have further plans for another branch.

“We have also just employed two new design consultants, whose job it will be to further grow our new departments. On top of that we have three new canvassers and are currently looking for a further sales manager to manage both the kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms divisions.

“And the jewel in our crown is the fact that for the fourth year running, we recently picked up the highly coveted national award from Network Veka for the ‘Best in Ireland’ trophy for both excellent service and customer satisfaction.

Network VEKA is a national body, which was set-up to redress the balance of customer opinion in a trade marred by unscrupulous, rogue operators in the uPVC, doors and conservatory world.

David concluded: “We are delighted to once again be recognized as the absolute best in our industry, which in turn, gives our customers further piece of mind that our products meet all criteria – from design to safety.”

Betterhomes is located at Duncrue Industrial Estate and is open to both residential and commercial customers. For further information on the full product offering by Betterhomes visit www.betterhomesgroup.com.
