Beauty Culture: All about the brows

As a culture we have always been obsessed with our eyebrows and with following brow trends. In the 80’s we loved a big brow, unruly and overgrown, influenced by stars such as Madonna. In the 90’s the skinny trend came into play and this caused a lot of us to over pluck and create thin eyebrows with little shape.

The problem with following fashion trends with eyebrows is that we don’t always end up with brows that suit our face shape. However over the past few years there has been a ‘brow revolution’ and they have become one of the most important features of our face.

We are now encouraged to have bespoke brows that suit our eyes and face shape. After all brows ‘frame your face’ so creating the right shape for each individual is very important.

The traditional eyebrow wax and tint is effective at enhancing and shaping the brows including covering any grey hairs, however since bringing HD Brows into our salon a couple of years ago, it has proved to be one of our most popular treatments. They have helped clients with thinner eyebrow shape achieve a fuller brow.

‘High Definition Beauty’ was one of the first companies to create the bespoke brow that helps to enhance our facial features.

Loved and advertised by celebrities such as; Emile Sande, Ella Eyre and bond girl Naomi Harris, clients now want to achieve their own personal brow perfection, which we help them to do.

The high definition brows are achieved by seven steps; tinting, waxing, threading, tweezing, measuring, shaping and enhancing with powder or pencil.

The process takes around 40 minutes and the result is that you will leave with bespoke, beautiful brows. The treatment is only carried out by our fully trained HD Brow therapists and requires a patch test for the tint at least 24 hours before your first treatment.

We also retail HD Beauty palettes which allow our clients to enhance their brows at home daily. If you would like the wow brow factor then HD brows are defiantly for you.

At Beauty Culture we like to personalise treatments for our clients needs so any advice on eyebrow shaping or how to thicken or define your brows, please call us or pop into the salon.
