Northern Ireland’s newest trampoline park, Air-tastic, is calling out for trampoline enthusiasts to sign up for a 24-hour bounce in aid of Cool FM’s children’s charity Cash for Kids.

The Bangor based venue is calling for jumpers of all ages to get involved, by signing up for a trampoline session in support of local children’s charity, Cash for Kids. Kicking off at 9am on Friday the 12th of May, the day long bounce will run until 9am on Saturday morning and with the day slots set to be busy, they are particularly keen to sign up shift workers such as local police, firemen, nurses, bakers, taxi-drivers and any other night owls to go for an after-hours bounce!

Air-Tastic are aiming to raise at least £2,500 for the charity with the support of over 100 bouncers over 24 hours, with collection buckets on site to supplement the fundraising drive for the duration of May. Budding bouncers can register at www.coolfm.co.uk/bounce for a small registration fee of £10 and are being encouraged to raise a minimum of £20 sponsorship. 100% of this will go towards the charity’s Cash for Kids Day campaign.

The day long fundraising bounce will help Cash for Kids support Northern Irish children from ages 0 to 18, with all funds raised going to their Cash for Kids Day which is supporting children affected by life limiting illnesses. The Cash for Kids charity fundraises all year round and focuses on improving the quality of children’s lives, by assisting in promoting their social, physical and mental well-being as well as encouraging personal development and aspirational fulfilment.

Air-Tastic Bangor General manager, Scott Keenan said:

“We are encouraging anyone and everyone to get involved. This fun endurance challenge will not only help numerous local children but it’s an opportunity to do something a bit different. So whether you are bouncing solo, part of a local business or maybe fancy doing something different at the end of your night shift, it’s set to be a great experience for everyone involved.”

Cash for Kids Charity Manager, Stephanie Laverty said:

“The support of Air-tastic is great news for Cash for Kids – we have never had a 24 hour bounce in support of our charity before so we are very excited to try something new! All of the money raised in May will go towards our Cash for Kids Day Campaign helping children from across Northern Ireland with life-limiting illnesses by giving a helping hand when and where it’s needed the most. We hope that everyone will get involved with this brilliant event and sign up to bounce the night away!”
