The Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon will celebrate its 33rd year on Bank Holiday Monday, 5th May 2014. Close to 18,000 runners are expected to line the streets of the North, South, East and West of the City to participate in either the Main Marathon Run, Wheelchair Race, 8 Mile walk, Team Relay or Fun Run.
The event has grown with the inclusion of sponsors which include Deep RiverRock, Belfast City Council, Athletics Northern Ireland, Daily Mirror, Podium 4 Sport, ASICS, Randox Health, Translink and U105.
The organisers have selected CLIC Sargent as the Official Nominated Charity for the 2014 event. Entries are now available, with a final cut-off point for entries on the 18th April 2014. No entries will be accepted after this date.
The event will be starting at Belfast City Hall and finishing at Ormeau Park.
